The press review highlighted IJK as a rising Lebanese singer-songwriter as indicated by its french title “IJK, Le Libanais Qui Monte”.

On March 11, 2017, MTV Lebanon – a top Lebanese TV station – interviewed IJK on its popular Rising Star show.
The half hour interview tackled many interesting topics including the origins of IJK’s music, his influences and his latest and future projects.
IJK also performed the legendary “Blue Suede Shoes” tune live on TV and rocked the audience in the studio and people watching at home.

IJK is currently working on an acoustic cover of one of his favorite songs by Piano Rock band Keane, “Somewhere Only We Know”.
The music video is done in an indie style and will feature IJK performing this hit on acoustic guitar.
